While she may be unknown to many in the West, she is one of the "chosen" artists by Akira Toriyama to officially illustrate his work (though this is not considered canon). This manga parodies the original Dragon Ball manga from its origins, but with much more humor and a "Chibi" art style.

As we mentioned, this DB SD work recreates the entire Dragon Ball story, from the meeting of Bulma and Goku, all the way to... hopefully, it will reach Super someday.
However, this version of the story unfolds "differently," with much more humor, and its "chibi" art style enhances that comedic tone.

This is a parody, and quite a recent one, that laughs at itself throughout. Its illustrator was one of Toriyama's disciples, who brought us the Episode of Bardock and also participated in the OVA "Goku and His Friends Return". She was also very close to being the one, rather than Toyotaro, to illustrate the Dragon Ball Super manga.
