The S.H. Figuarts figure of Gohan in SSJ from 2010 is the third figure in the collection and the first we have for Son Goku's firstborn. It had a regular release and came with a good amount of accessories, including 2 hairpieces—one for Super Saiyan 1 and another for Super Saiyan 2. It was a 1.0 body figure, based on the battle against Cell, and used the manga's colors.
We’ve already mentioned that it’s number 3 in the collection and the first dedicated to the character. One of the most positive aspects of this figure was that it came quite complete, as including both hairpieces for SSJ1 and SSJ2 was a nice touch—something the 2024 version only included for Super Saiyan level 1. Additionally, the 6 faces were compatible with both hairpieces.
Speaking of faces, this was something the Goku SSJ figure (which was number 2, and this is number 3) lacked, and although the promotional artwork we can see in the image gallery above made it seem like they nailed it, the final result wasn’t as incredible as expected. But of course, we have to consider that many years have passed, and everything has improved. Otherwise, the figure was a 10/10 for its time.
As for the rest, it is based on the Androids and Cell Saga, painted with the colors closest to Toriyama’s manga, and features shading that nearly no other S.H. Figuarts figures have nowadays.
